Welcome back everyone to Carer Positive’s news updates for 2022!

We are thrilled to be kicking off the new year with a new award and new Carer Positive employer. The Eric Liddell Centre in Edinburgh have a created a strong foundation and culture of support for carers. This ethos of support is represented in the work it undertakes in the wider community, as well as within their own staff team. Well done to everyone at the Centre on your hard work recognised by our Engaged level award.

This week we also saw Simon Hodgson retiring from his role as the Director of Carers Scotland. We wish Simon all the best for his retirement and whatever he does next. In his place we welcome Richard Meade, who joins us from Marie Curie Scotland. Our followers will be able to hear from Richard, as well as seeing his signature on the Carer Positive certificates in the near future.
