Scottish Legal Complaints Commission Become Carer Positive

This week Sue had the pleasure of travelling to Edinburgh to present the Scottish Legal Complaints Commission with a Carer Positive Engaged level award.

It was clear from SLCC's application that there is a really strong culture of support for carers, and for wider staff health and wellbeing within the organisation. This support is well communicated and they have awareness raising activities panned for Carers Week, which will raise the profile of caring and send a positive message to members of staff.

They have also adopted a particularly progressive approach to flexibility and flexible working at SLCC which must go a long way in enabling those employees with caring roles to manage both elements of their work and home lives very effectively.

Well done to everyone at Scottish Legal Complaints Commission who have been involved in building this support, we can't wait to see how it develops in the future.
