Catching Up on Carers Rights Day

The Carer Positive Team would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who was involved with organising, sharing, speaking at or attending our Carers Rights Day event last week – we felt it was a huge success.

It is always so nice to catch up with our Carer Positive Employers, hearing about their experiences, particularly over these challenging last few years. We also hope that anyone who attended from an organisation that is not yet Carer Positive found the event useful and informative.

We would also like to take the moment to highlight this segment which aired on the STV News on Carers Rights Day focusing on working carers. It features the experiences of Peter Lawson from the Carer Positive Employer Natwest, as well as a brief word from Carers Scotland’s own Policy and Public Affairs Manager, Fiona Collie.
